with conditions expected to improve later this afternoon. Snow clearing is underway in southern Ontario
with all but remote areas expected to be accessible by late this evening.
Overnight highway traffic was extremely limited due to
hazardous road conditions, but all lanes will resume today.
Delivery delays can be expected throughout Ontario and
Quebec today, but the network will be back to normal service levels tomorrow.

Heavy snow has started to fall in southwestern Ontario
and in the Niagara region. Road
conditions are deteriorating quickly and will continue to worsen has high winds
as expected later this morning. The
storm is predicted to move east through the day, impacting the GTA late this
morning and eastern Ontario and southern Quebec later this evening. High snowfall amounts and high winds are
expected to create dangerous road conditions into Thursday morning.
